As promised, I have for you...
Embryo update.
Yes. So, it will be two weeks from my ER tomorrow, Sunday April 27th 2019.
As anyone who has been or is currently going through the IVF process, you tend to have a love/hate relationship with starting you period. (FYI, there are ZERO filters in the IVF community, feel like I should warn those who have never been through this process) You hate when you start your cycle every month, because its a reminder of hey oh, not pregnant, AGAIN, yet once you start IVF, you anxiously wait for your cycle to start so you can begin your meds, or your FET. I finally started my cycle after ER which I was beyond excited to start because A) My body would go back to normal, B) I can hopefully get rid of all these extra hormones- (not sure thats how it works, but I'm going to pretend) & C) Get ready for our FROZEN EMBRYO TRANSFER! Aka, take my fertilized eggos, and put them safely where they belong for 9 months. So the reason why you are all here...just how many of our 15 fertilized embryos make it to Day 5 Blastocyst Embryo stage?
DRUM ROLL!
We were blessed with 14 day 5 #Blastocyst Embryos! FOURTEEN. They say that typically anywhere from 20-50% of fertilized #embryos make it to day 5. We had 93% of our #fertilizedeggs make it. Our Doctor only does 5 days transfers, as the success rate is higher. Honestly, as I type this I am still in shock. After gong through everything, I knew some of our eggs were going to make it, I was expecting 8-9, and obviously hoping for at least one. Well, here we are, 14 #embabies.

Next up, I will have yet, another #hysteroscopy to make sure my uterus is still penthouse style, a few more meds, and transfer. I will be keeping transfer date hush hush for now, as we would like some sort of privacy and excitement to remain between the two of us, and our family.
Sending love, and warm wishes.
